The ELCH South District
As of May, 2009, the South District counts 35 congregations and 3000-4000 worshipers. However, most of the worship centers in the district are inadequate. Helping the worshipers in the district to build decent places in which to worship is a cherished dream of Pastor Touloute and his co-administrators.
Only two congregations in the district—Les Cayes and Carrefour Duclos—have a decent building in which to worship although neither construction has been completed. Constructions are underway at Grande Plaine and at Plaine Matin. Construction sites have been purchased in Bergeaud, Charlette, Sejourné, Polyte, Carcace, Delcourt, Riviere Glace, among others, thanks to the joint efforts of the Lord’s servants both in Haiti and in the U.S.
