BUILDING HOPE in HAITI
The "Building Hope in Haiti" web site started as an idea at the 2009 Haiti Conference held April 25-26, 2009, at the Staybridge Suites in Maumee, Ohio. The site will be a gathering place of information for those making mission trips to Haiti. Most conference attendees are members of different Lutheran churches 
concerned with assisting the Haitian people.
Conference goals included the following:
• Meet others who share the same passion for serving Nora,
the
Caribbean Children's Foundation, and the people of Haiti
• Network and share ideas on how teams can work better together
• Discuss overcoming obstacles and share solutions that work
• Develop and grow this network of support
